Gresham's Lake View Motel

“Clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the lake and the chophouse, and there’s plenty to do, and the view is gorgeous. Very affordable, and the room comes with ac and heat, a microwave, and a fridge. The manager was also helpful and friendly. If you’re coming down for a weekend, this is the perfect place to stay.”

“We had a two night stay 09/09-09/10/22. Our room was very clean and comfortable with fresh towels and face cloths both days. The staff was very friendly and personable, and breakfast at the Paupack Diner was great. We had a lovely view of the lake from our patio chairs. Our stay was short but comfortable and relaxing. It was also quiet at night and if we are up that way again, we will definitely stay there.”

“Gresham’s Lake View Motel is the place my Mom’s family stayed at year after year in the 50s and 60s. The location is awesome, right across from Lake Wally, with their own dock) and next to Chops Restaurant (delicious and a bit upscale for the area) and Wally’s Pizzeria (very unfancy, but also delicious - the Mexican food is good too!). The rooms are absolutely basic - and if you don’t know that in advance, it’s an adjustment. But it sure beats camping (says this non-camper). And the service is wonderful. Amy made us feel at home, helped us in a pinch with our family picnic & bbq, and told us the tales of the resident beavers. Highly recommend!”
